Frequently Asked Questions
Q - What type of footwear do I need for dance classes?
A - A smooth sole offers the best surface for dancing on wood floor. A leather sole or smooth rubber will work fine, dance or zumba sneakers work well. Stay away from athletic shoes meant for gripping such as basketball or volleyball sneakers. If you want to wear sneakers but would like more give, check out the link below for dance socks.
Q - What should I wear to class?
A - Layers work well. In winter months especially the rooms can be cold at first, but after we get started dancers tend to get heated. Having the option to remove a layer works well for most. No need to get fancy; jeans or leggings work fine.
Q - Am I good enough to take your class?
A - I've been asked this quite a few times and it makes me laugh. The answer is a resounding YES. I will guide you to the class that will best fit your experience level. My job is to not only teach you how to dance, but also make sure you have fun while you do it. Mistakes are just variations:)
